I had facebook to connect with people. When people started to bother me I needed a place to vent, so I got twitter. Now people who I need to vent about are following me on twitter and I need a new place to vent, so here I am. Usually I don't write about my personal life, but I think I am going to start. But of course I will continue to do picture and quote updates as well.
I applied for a summer job to work at a camp this summer, I would be assistant cabin leader. I applied kind of as a last resort cause I was having trouble finding a job, even finding places that were hiring. When I told my best friends, saying they were not fond of the idea is most definitely an understatement. No one supported me in this, and that was just the application stage. I started to pray about it and I really started to feel as though God is calling me to be there this summer. Slowly my friends opinions didn't matter so much, but it still hurt that they didn't support it. I got an interview and got the job, as well as a position on spring crew. I start May 23. My friends are now talking about how much they are going to miss me and it's going to suck while I'm gone, and how I should find a job here, and how I shouldn't go just to spite them, and they continue to be unsupportive in any way possible. Another thing that bothers me is how every time we talk about me leaving (which isn't very often) the conversation somehow becomes about the other people and they forget that I am even there. I don't want to be a downer all the time but when they start making plans for their summer in front of me, plans that I will not be a part of it does hurt. They have already started putting some of their plans into action without me, even though I am still here. I feel invisible. I can't take the frustration I feel when I am around them anymore. To them, leaving for the summer has become about me not wanting to spend time with them. The sad part is, the way I have felt lately around my friends is only making me want to get out of here more. It only makes me want to leave and not come back... and they are making it sound more and more appealing. I think going away will be good, not seeing them every day will be something to look forward to, I won't have to put up with nonsense, or frustration, or feeling left out. It gives me the opportunity to get a new start, to have time to myself, to be with God, and time to think. It will give me a chance to wipe that fake smile off my face. I don't want to do this to spite them, I want to go because that is God's will for me, but it is starting to get hard to have a clear head. May 23rd needs to come faster.
Thank you for letting me vent, It feels nice to get it off my chest.

My roommates are all partying right now. Loud music, sure I don't mind. People yelling, please be quiet. Drunk people, not my thing. They are all planning on going to the bar later and leaving me with drunk people playing beer pong in my kitchen, hah, I don't think so. Anyways, In the mean time I figure I'd make a post and make up for lost time. I'll probably watch some Big Bang Theory later, GREAT show!!! Here ya go, comment and sub if you wish.
